As well as a performer, Hiro Morozumi is active as a composer, arranger, and a multi-media wizard.
He has been composing/arranging/producing for projects of many kinds, including concert orchestras, films,
theatrical plays, musicians' recordings, ballet, and computer software.

"Unlearned" (2001)

       
A theatrical play with a strong societal message,
produced by students at UNT. Composed music andprovided live accompaniment and sound effects.

A fun online interactive program designed to help kids learn English grammar. I'm composing jingles and sound effects.

"Rainbow Goblins" (2004)

A story ballet based on Ul de Rico's book
"Rainbow Goblins," produced by Arc Dance, Seattle, WA.
The work was premiered at Meany Hall, University of Washington
in March, 2004. I composed for the entire 30-minute ballet.

"Liberation Lindy" (MP3) A big band piece a la Sammy Nestico.
 
"A Heroic Tale" (MP3) A contemporary orchestral piece commissioned by Henry Mancini Institute.
 
"Big Blowfish" (MP3) I love writing for strings! - especially when I can have them rock out. This is a funk piece written for a string octet.
 
"Punk Panther" (MP3) My somewhat punkish fast-samba treatment of Mancini's classic TV theme.
